Goose Hunting

Duck/Dove Hunting

Nebraska Snow Geese/Turkeys

It begins

Nov 1

The task of digging pits and putting lids on has begun. New geese showed up in the area around Halloween, and the numbers are on a slow rise along with some ducks. Still no big numbers of Mallards as of yet.

Oct. 26

A very windy morning today, duck hunting remains slow to fair. We are shooting ducks everyday with Mallards, Gadwall and teal being the primary species. Still waiting on a real push from the north, tomorrow??

Windy day ducks

Oct. 21,

Duck hunting remains fair, but honestly I was somewhat disappointed with the number of birds we saw this morning with the high winds. Birds harvested and spotted were Mallards, Pintails, Teal and a few widgeon. I really believe we are in limbo, waiting for another push from the north, and that could be any day even without a front, as the photo period shortens. Get your dates booked today!

Early Duck Season

Oct 12

Duck hunting has been exceptional with good numbers of birds already down. Gadwalls, Teal, Mallards, Widgeon, and Wood ducks have been the primary species harvested. Our hunts have been very productive up to this point, and we expect new birds with pressure fronts to the north. Got your dates booked yet? Call today, 970-219-3913.
